The RNN Group is an education and training provider which meets the needs of thousands of employers, adults and school leavers every year, contributing at the heart of communities across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
With an income of around £50m each year, the RNN Group includes three colleges of further and higher education; Rotherham College, Dearne Valley College and North Notts College as well as five training organisations including our apprenticeship providers, RNN Training and Create Skills. We educate school leavers, undergraduates, employees and those re-joining the workforce. Our National Fluid Power Centre provides specialist training in hydraulics and pneumatics.
From our heartlands in the Sheffield City Region and the East Midlands, we work in partnership with employers to deliver training and recruitment solutions which support them to deliver high quality products and services with increased productivity and market impact.
The skill sectors we cover include Engineering, Construction, Health, Digital, Creative Industries, Childcare, Hospitality and Business & Leadership.
Our students and apprentices benefit from industry-experienced tutors and purpose-built workshops, as well as work experience placements that are designed to develop their skills in the workplace and give them a head start in their careers.
We are passionate about investing in the future of Rotherham and are in the process of building University Centre Rotherham (UCR), a £10.5 million campus which will be dedicated to degrees and higher-level skills. UCR will be situated on Doncaster Gate, in Rotherham town centre, and is due to open in autumn 2018. UCR was developed in partnership with 200 of the over 1000 employers that the RNN Group works with in order to develop courses that particularly meet a need for the local economy.
