Boeing Sheffield Supplier Event

Boeing Sheffield will be the first Boeing manufacturing facility in Europe and will manufacture actuation components for a range of commercial aircraft.
Sheffield based J F Finnegan Ltd has been appointed as Boeing’s construction partner for this project.

There will be an opportunity to meet informally with representatives of Boeing, J F Finnegan Ltd and, of course, the chance to network with other companies at the event.

All potential suppliers are welcome.

Boeing do not wish to procure professional services as part of this project as these will be sourced from within the corporation.

Aerospace Machining Workshop - External Event

Third Wave Systems has partnered with the AMRC to demonstrate Production Module and AdvantEdge. During the AdvantEdge workshop learn how to quickly setup simulations and compare the effect of tooling geometry changes or process parameters on tool life and chip formation. The Production Module workshop highlights the use of CAM interfaces including Siemens NX, Mastercam and CATIA to easily analyse toolpaths and optimise cycle time.

What you will receive:

  • Classroom-style instruction with step-by-step examples and applications
  • Setup a project and evaluate “what-if” scenarios
  • Achieve cycle time savings, reduce tool costs and improved tool design
  • Hands-on training to optimise your process with expert engineering staff
  • A 30-day trial license of Production Module and/or AdvantEdge including full technical support

Immersive Economy Mapping Study

Immerse UK, in association with AMRC, would like to invite you to participate in the Immersive Economy Mapping study, the first ever UK project mapping the Immersive Economy ecosystem.

The UK is one of the global leaders in the Immersive Economy – including VR, AR and wearable and haptic technologies, content and services. Ensuring that the sector continues to expand requires the right policies informed by the best data.

With that in mind, Immerse UK is running this survey (administered by research company MTM). The results will help policymakers, investors and businesses make better decisions, driving our industry’s success.
